1. Refined sugar


Although sugary foods taste great and actually can give us that much needed rush of energy for 20-30 minutes, they are usually not good for you long term.

One of the problems is that all refined sugar causes our blood glucose levels to decrease sharply.

This gives us an equivalent to a sugar hangover which can put us into a bad mood, take away our energy and can even cause sleep disorders.
